This study is a six-part study that combines biblical teaching, real-life documentary stories and engaging video illustrations designed to challenge each of us to consider the reason God calls us to work – why God may have us in our current position. This resource encourages us to look beyond how our jobs make us feel and inspires us to see purpose and significance in the work that we do.

Christians like us — CEO’s, Founders, teachers and work-from-home freelancers — spend a great deal of time working, and yet, we really don’t understand how our work actually intersects with our faith. We often feel like we categorize our faith with Sunday mornings and the rest of our week seems to have little to do with our relationship with God. This Bible Study illustrates, thankfully, that Scripture doesn’t differentiate the secular parts of our lives.

This series helps us understand the biblical decree for work. It explains how we each have been called to work with excellence, integrity, and diligence, and our careers are our opportunity to be on a mission for Christ in our marketplaces. It also demonstrates how God has given each of us the potential to impact our families, churches, communities and the world through the unique gifts we possess in the work that we do.

The fact of the matter is that God gives us our work, talent, and skills so that through these gifts we may worship Him.
