My Motto

The weekend before last, hubby and I rearranged some living space within our home. The result was that I got to increase my office space. Since the move, I have become completely comfortable in my new space. I even went out with a friend and picked out an inspirational wall hanging to place behind me for when I am shooting video. The wall hanging has become my office motto and totally sums up my entire business (and life) philosophy. It sends the kind of message that I want emulate and it makes me smile as I enter my office each day I work.

All things are possibleI am also impressed with how the layout of the office scape turned out. Now, I sit at an angle facing the door instead of having my back to the door. To my right is a window that allows me to see the daily, sunny New Mexico weather. My dogs come in and lay at my feet and occasionally sit up right next to me nudging my arm as I move my mouse across the desk mat.

The New Office Space

I don’t have a professional desk yet – the previous desk is built into area in the main part of the house. Being that one of my websites is a craft site, I was able to use some crafty ingenuity and create a desk and work station using some of the existing things that I found around the house. Good thing I enjoy organization and storage gadgets.

It is amazing how improving your work space can impact your business. My first week flew by as added and scheduled blog post after blog post to some of the the sites that I have. I hope to continue and build up this new found momentum and be able to increase business cashflow for the business. I am feeling the curve starting it’s upward trend toward what is certain to be the “make it or break it” point. So far, I have been rather blessed and am “making it”. It would just be really nice to have a little more wriggle room.

At the end of the week, I was excited to have the opportunity to apply for a sales and support opening within a prominent WordPress forum and business community. I look forward to finding out if I will soon be working for them. I believe I would be a great fit for their need and it would also allow me to grow my own expertise and knowledge base. I have made it into the final stages of the process, I am one of 20 final applicants. This could be the opportunity to stabilize a little more of my income. The bottom line here is really this – I saw an opportunity, took action and did my best. I know that whatever the outcome is how it was meant to be.

In addition to all of that, I am still offering free online technical support for quick questions relating to anything internet for my own business.
