At first glance I may ask myself why would I want to make my boss’ job easier? The answer is simply because it is the right thing to do. And what makes it “right”? Because it is what God would want me to do.
Trustworthy messengers refresh like snow in summer. They revive the spirit of their employer.
Proverbs 25:13, NLT
It is often difficult to find people you can really trust. A faithful employee (“messenger”) is punctual, responsible, honest, and hardworking. This person is invaluable as he or she helps take some of the pressure off his or her employer.
I am a trustworthy person. I have been a faithful employee throughout my many jobs. My proof was with my punctuality, being responsible, being honest and hardworking. I found out what my employer needed from me to make his or her job easier, and I did it to the best of my ability.
I am thankful to have been able to do that while employed. Now that I am the employer, these are the same traits that I look for when I am in need of out-sourcing work. I also look for these qualities within those that I network with and in the online communities that I am involved with.
